Captain Larry D. Jones

Captain Larry D. Jones is married to a Guyanese woman and has been traveling to Guyana for fishing expeditions for 35 years. Captain Jones brings more than three decades of experience running a successful fishing guide service in New York State in the United States and holds a U.S. Coast Guard Masters License. Fishing remote areas and taking others on fishing expeditions of a lifetime in Guyana is what he enjoys most. A fisherman all his life since age 10, Captain Jones has 25 years experience as a Charter Captain, 5 years fishing the PMTT (Pro Musky Tournament Trail), and 10 years fishing the Great Lakes Walleye Tournaments. He has led seminars at fishing shows and fishing clubs in almost every major city from the Midwest to the Northeast. He is also a featured writer of many articles for Musky Hunter Magazine, North American Fishing, and In-Fishermen.

Captain Larry has been very involved with fishing conservation issues. In fact he has spent the last 8 years leading the fundraising efforts to purchase bait fish for the NY DEC Prendergast Musky Hatchery. A vast knowledge of the Rupununi District through 35 years of experience makes Larry your first choice for fishing tours to the Rupununi area.

Jules Fredericks

Jules Fredericks was born in Guyana and has been traveling into Guyana’s remote interior for most of his life and has been hunting and fishing the Rupununi District area since his childhood. Jules is also an accomplished fly fisher and brings that experiece along on each fishing adventure.His experience and knowledge stem from his companionship with Amerindian people. I’m also a bull rider, mechanic, driver, rancher and captian, with a vast knowledge of the Rupinuni Rain Forest!
